• An ideal qualification for candidates wanting to develop some of the key skills and understanding in motor vehicle systems.

• Successful candidates will have the basic skills needed to apply for an automotive apprenticeship or similar engineering pathway. This qualification could also be used as an ‘interest’ course for a wide range of learners.

• These qualifications are suitable for 14-16 year olds wanting an introduction to motor vehicle systems and maintenance, to gain skills in those areas and perhaps to decide which trade is the right one to pursue a career in. No previous knowledge or experience is required.
